Grilled Ricotta Plums with Honey
1 tbsp granulated sugar
6 plums (cut in half)
1 cup ricotta
1 tsp orange zest
3 tbsp honey
Sprinkle sugar over the cut side of your plums. Heat the grill to a medium heat. Grill plums with the cut side facing down until they begin to caramelize. Turn and cook for another 2 minutes. Combine the ricotta and orange zest in a separate bowl. Place the plums on a plate and scoop the ricotta mixture on the top. Drizzle the honey over the dish while serving. You can always choose to add a few chopped nuts if you’d like to.
Some other fun ways you can use honey are with sauces, spreads and dips like honey butter or barbecue sauce. You can also use honey with your breakfast cereals and on many snacks.
