Benefits of oil pulling and tongue scraping: Oil pulling is the simple practice of swishing a teaspoon of oil around your mouth and then rinsing. It should be done for at least 10 minutes. Coconut oil works great for this technique as it maintains a healthy balance of microbes in your mouth. Oil pulling encourages fresh breath, maintains a normal pH level in the mouth and prevents plaque from building up in the mouth. First Drink of the Day After Waking
Once you have gone through a thorough mouth cleansing in the morning, it is recommended to drink 1-2 cups of warm water before you eat anything.
